Hi, we are in Huntington Beach. We have been to both of the previous Stagecoach Festivals. The first year we were treated to a VIP tour which was AWESOME!! We had hoped to be there for all of them however this year the cost to camp soared from $50 per person (2) plus $50 for our van to $750 just to camp and with this economy and now being unemployed we won't be able to make it. (we didn't need a hook up just a sopt) Hope all that do get to go have a great time, please post lots of pics. Hope all have fun and stay safe!!

Well, I have to admit Sunday was quite the experience. It was a last minute road trip I will never forget. We had to leave my house super early in the morning to meet up with someone to buy our tickets myself and my two friends drove the 4 hours in our pjays. Then we had to find a place to get dressed and ready. That was an adventure in its self lol. After the show we decided to try a different way home cuz we didn't want to drive across the desert to go home. Well, we ended up in LA then on the 101 north going towards Ventura, so, we had to turn around. After 5 1/2 hours we finally made it home it was 5am by time we got home. So, we had been up for almost 48 hours. I had a blast though. I will be back next year. Now, I am getting myself hyped for the Warped Tour. I am soooo tired right now.

Hey all- This was my first Stagecoach and I loved every mintue of it!!! The music was great and the people I met will be friends for life. I am already counting the days until next year. So when I was falling asleep in the camp ground on Sunday night I thought I heard live music coming from the RV lots. Did someone preform out there late night? Also if there is anyone cowboys out there that live in Vegas and like to go boot scootin drop me a line-I don't know anyone who like counrty music let a lone someone to go dancin with on a Saturday night! Can't wait for next year-I had the time of my life!!!

So this was our first year (not really dating - my husband asked me to stop doing that when we got married). We had so much fun the party kept going until late last night - after we'd already been home (about an hour West of Indio) since Sunday at 11:30 (yeah, we left during Kenny...disUGHppointing!)

This was a birthday weekend for me - had to wait 4 months to enjoy it, but loved every minute of it. Wish we'd gotten camping, but we live so close it seemed like saving a few hundred for $7 beers was a wiser decision. Don't get me wrong - that worked out really well for us, but next year we are definitely joining ya'll in the camping - sounds like everyone was just having a fun ol' time there.

Enough about me and my pinkie toe fetish... I have to say:

1. SC is, hands down (and up again...waving like you just don't care) the BEST concert/event I have ever been to...
2. Sitting in the beer tent area next to the Mane Stage wasn't so bad - reserved seating sounds great and all, but beer within 15ft of us was a nice perk! And I had more fun watching people stumble up to the beer, then I did watching Kenny Chesney stumble through his set...
3. Who thinks USCPsycho was more entertaining than Kenny Chesney?
4. tgcali - your posts were super helpful and informative for this newbie. Thanks a bunch!

I'll stop with the KC bashing now. He is the reason I went and the only performance I was unhappy about. I love, love, loved Brad Paisley - awesome music and so engaging. Kid Rock, too, which was a surprise for me. It seemed like he put a lot of thought into his interaction with the crowd. And, of course, Reba Rocks!

Everyone on the boards seems very friendly and I enjoy the fun-lovin' country vibe going on. Can't wait to party down and meet some of ya'll next year!

I'm Samantha (or Sam). I'm 26. I am a teacher. I taught Kindergarten but was laid off. Now I am substitute teaching until California gets its head out of its a** and fixes things.

Hmmm... what else??? I have been to all SC's. 07 we were in the tent forum. 08 we were in one of the ED's but put our tent in our tent circle in the middle of the RV's. 09 we spent the money and rented an RV. We were in ED II and it was the best decision; no going to bed freezing, no waking up from the desert wind or the hot sun turning your tent into an oven.

This place does suck you in doesn't it? Kenny's performance wasn't so bad, all things considered. It was the end of a long weekend of partying and Kid Rock had just destroyed it RIGHT before Kenny came on stage. Kenny didn't have a chance.

Seriously. There are complaints about the Sunday closer every year. You just spent several days hammered in the baking sun and you're surprised you don't enjoy the final show as much as the first one?

Even if you don't drink, that sun will take it out of you by Sunday night. Just knowing it's almost over makes the fatigue start to kick in because you're thinking about all the effort involved in tearing down camp, getting home and going back to work.. it's a no-brainer, really.

Granted, Tim McGraw was awful, but Kenny came after Kid and I think he did a good job of it. Maybe not up to his usual par coming straight from Vegas like he did, but still good.

oh dont get me wrong i had a BLAST! i didnt drink ((ducking for cover!!!)) i wanted to get the most out of it. wont be that way this year. i know what to expect and will have a few drinks or 50.

Do keep checking on the boards, especially as we get closer. I'll revive my 'what to bring' thread that has tons of info in it. We all will be answering a lot of questions so there's tons of info to obtain. Welcome aboard, you're in for a wild ride!

Yes I was one of the lurkers! The list tgcali speaks of was the best. She listed things that I wouldn't have normally thought of. We had the best time and luckily we are just doing GA so I didn't have any problems getting my tix. Although the service fee was a little outrageous all is good!

try craigslist, and sometimes people even post their sites on here that they dont want anymore. If you really look, something usually pops up as it gets closer and people realize they can't make it. Good luck
