What time to arrive/camping in ED1

This is my first year at Stagecoach. I am pulling a trailer and plan to go thursday 4/23 what time should I plan on arriving in order to get a good spot and avoid some of the congestion.
P.S. are there any places close by to fill up my water tanks

As for filling up BEFORE you go in...don't know of any, do that at home. They do have a water truck that comes around daily, IF you can get him, $5 first gallon then $1 after that(I am sure that is what I read)

Is 6pm when everyone starts lining up with their RVs or do the gates just open and you make a mad dash for the best spot possible.

Are the hookup ups in ED1 power only. If so do they have another truck to empty your black & grey tanks???? What is the cost????

Hahah..nope..they direct you in a mannerly order...to the first spot at the end of a row and in sequence. Like parking you at D-land is how I describe it, park in order, next to the guy in front of you.

Yes, only hook ups if you bought them and only in EDI (except for some ADA spots have no hook ups)

There is a pumper that comes thru you can grab and pay...something like $40.

There is a dump station at the Jurupa City park if you are close to there and take the 60 home depending on what part of Corona you live in, that is where we dump, it is free.

How LATE can we arrive at ED1 on Friday night? I probably won't be there until 11pm or later. Will I be allowed in? Is there any hope that I will get a somewhat decent spot?

Yeah you can show up, but they will just put in in the next avail spot.

Yeah, we were hearded in..and with our size rig it was very very hard, and had two huge ones pull up next to us. Yes...I hope they have the ACTUAL 20' wide spots this year vs. the 15 we got last year.

I didnt want to start a new thread with this title cuz i selfishly dont want a long line at the station, but i thought anyone who reads deep enough into this thread is cool enough to stand in line with. And if your like me, you wanna dump that tank ASAP.

Thank you...not selfish!! heheeh I understand. I know my "secret" dumping stations I hit on the way home from Glamis:cool:

Since its a day shorter this year it shouldn't be to hard to last the whole weekend dry camping without filling up your gray/black tanks. You use the shower trucks and the provided sinks for personal hygiene and practice good "water management" in ur rigs and u should be fine. Make the guys use the honeybuckets.(a country girl should take 1 for the team and use them too) lol Gas is pretty cheap so just fill up your water tanks and don't worry about the added weight. Last year we arrived at ED2 3 hours after they opened and got a great spot. It didn't start filling up till later on Friday and a lotta people came on Saturday

I Camped From Thursday to Sunday Last Year With 4 People and We Were Good On Water....Be Smart and Conserve :) Otherwise You Are Gonna Cut Into Your Beer Money Paying For Water/Dumping :(

RV Parking Doesn't Open Til Thursday @ 6pm This Year??? Last Year It Opened On Wednesday, Right??? Is That Because They Do Not Have Shows On Friday This Year???

Gates for RV parking open at 6 on Thursday. If last year is any indicator, I'd bet on many rigs lining up at the gate hours before they open. Lots of folks coming from way out of town. I live just a few miles away, but, still gonna get there early.

Last year was Wednesday due to the Friday night deal.

Hello everyone. yea this is going to be my second time to stagecoach but first time with my own rig. Went with friends last year in there rig and had loads of fun. This year I will be one of those early birds getting there hopefully around 1 or 2 and just start the weekend off on the dirt road. Can't wait! 22 days till departure
