47th Annual Watermelon Festival was FUN!

Hey y'all, just want to report back that the 47th Annual Watermelon Festival my band played at on Sunday was really fantastic! The grounds were packed and there were a good number of country dancers enjoying the Watermelon Crawl! I know there were a few folks from countryboards.com but if anyone from this forum was there (I know most of y'all live down in the Palm Springs area, I think), I wanna thank you for joining us! Hey, the tall dude in the center of the above pic was braving T.R.O.U.B.L.E in this line dance shot! You gotta give him credit, he stuck it out to the end! :) I put a couple of video clips up on our MySpace site if you'd like to catch some of the action!

Absolutely a great time! Can't wait 'til next year! If you're going to be up near the San Fernando Valley either tomorrow night 8/13 (Wed.) or 8/17, Sun., we'll be playing at The Cowboy Palace in Chatsworth! I know that's a long shot but I thought I'd extend the invite 'cause ya never can tell where a cowgirl will turn up next! :)

Hey, thank you SO much for the offer! I was just working on the possibility of our playing a little closer to you right now, in fact.

It's funny you should offer the pics because a fan just shot some pictures and video of us at The Cowboy Palace recently. It's not professional but it's always fun to be able to look back at the folks enjoying themselves. I put the pics together as a "thank you slideshow" to folks who came that night. I'll paste it in here along with the video ! Hope ya enjoy it and thanks again! (P.S. Hey Rose! You're all a great and fun bunch of people! The band will be back at Big Jim's on Sept. 3rd if you'd like to come out! I just posted some video and pics from our Cowboy Palace gig and you'll probably recognize a few cowgirl hats line-dancin' there, too! :)
