Ok....I just created a shutterfly account, uploaded pictures from the Dwight show and Alan Jackson. I'm not sure how I "share" the link to my account so all can view the album? I feel like a dolt !! I thought there is a way or a link that I could post that directs people to my albums??? did I miss something in basic photo sharing.. or do I need to ask the junior high kid next door?
Also, I have tried to upload pics to one of my posts, and I guess I failed that too... Do I use the attachments tab, upload the desired image?? when I do that I get the error message saying my image is too large...( crap!)..so if that's the case, is there a way I can re size them for uploading on to my forum post?
looks like there should be a button at the top somewhere. shutterfly has changed since the last time i used it. these days i use costco or snapfish. they're all about the same with some kind of share option. usually you have to be IN the album you want to share, and then look for the button or link.
kymery is the master at including pictures within posts... mine are just the small links. but the real challenge, like you say, is resizing them so the board will allow the upload. rose had a good suggestion in one of kymery's threads about resizing thru windows. i use a mac so i can't help much there.

Hi Festival. I found photobucket to be the easiest. They have preset resizing, for message boards. Its free. Kymery, Hodgee and Hillbilly all use it too.

hmmm...you're probably right...My daughter sent me an email saying the same thing. I guess shutterfly wants everyone to sign up before viewing photos..ok, off to photobucket I go...thanks, mommie....

I'm not a fan of Shutterfly's new look! But I have sooooo many pics on them - I feel committed. The thing I've liked about them compared to Kodak Gallery is that you can share pictures from multiple albums at once - or only SOME of pics from a certain album - without having to share the whole thing... There may be a way to do that on other sites, but I'm not sure?
If you kept them on shutterfly - the way I've posted links to share with several people - go to the album you want to share, select which pics (click on individual pics - will give you a check mark - or select "all") - then the top right should have a "share" button.
You can email them to certain people - or if you want to post the link here for example, what I would do is do the "share" to your own email - then when it gives you the link - copy it and paste here.
Hopefully that made sense - I tend to ramble! :)
