Alan Jackson was the whole reason for me going to stagecoach 07. Got my tix floor 5 row 3.

Yvonne, Alan Jackson (and Garth Brooks) were the reason I took the plunge into country music!! I absolutely love them both. When offered 3rd row, center pit seats to see AJ at the Pacific Amphitheater, I had no problem pulling out the visa for that upgrade!! Now, I'm going to go back to shutterfly and see if I can figure out how to upload a pic from his show to the this thread. He was fabulous...!!!

It's a new venue in Ontario....Citizens Business Bank Arena....freeway close, check it out....they're still selling floor seats for the AJ and Trace concert!!!

hey, sometimes those side seats are better than the floor once you get pretty far back on the floor!! I noticed that when we saw Collective Soul, we were about 20th row and I would of rather of been up on the side, with raised seats!

Yeah, i am keeping an eye on that as well but it looks like they are selling in 115 which is about as far away as FL6.....but I guess raised is better than not raised.....:rolleyes:

Well got our tix! We are in FL4 row 14..I think...kinda far but the only "lower bowl" seats were far too so...oh well, it will be fun! You can wave to us as you walk by going to your close-up seats!! LOL!!! I will be bringing one of my country music converts with me so should be fun. She has only been to Kenny, Keith Urban and Brad....rookie.....;)

I know I am SO EXCITED!!!! Hey, will the SC-09 lineup be out by then?? Wasn't someone saying Nov for line up announcement?? Or am I making that up??? It happens..the blonde hair and all...hehe ;) don't even get me started on the old age.....hehe ;) :p

If we are lucky we can be getting excited over the lineup for 09!! (hopefully not bitching and moaning..come on GV....)

hey y'all... I went to AJ saturday night....!!! awesome show....November should be great if it's anything like his last show!!! I got floor 2, row 9 seats, for the November show, we'll all be together. At the AJ show saturday, they passed out flyers announcing the November show at the new venue in Ontario, with the "secret code word" for the presale.. (not very secret, huh?) otherwise you hackers would have most likely been first!!! ha ha... anyway... that will be another great "reunion".

Did you get to see the Zac Brown Band?? I only just fell in love with this band yesterday (it was love at first listen) and was so bummed to realize that they were the opener for AJ last weekend!! And since their album doesn't drop til Sept 2 I have to keep going to their site to listen to them!! If you haven't heard them/of them I IMPLORE YOU to take a listen....the song "Chicken Fried" got me hooked INSTANTLY and by the look/sound of their performances on their site, they are def going to be one to check out!!!

Oh, I have already listened to every song they have on their site multiple times and I love everysingle one!!! Rarely does that happen! So bummed their tour is wrapping up and they aren't coming out west again til next time....And we still have to wait 1 whole month for the album!!! This is torture, I tell ya!! LOL! ;)

lol.. me tooooo!!! I'm kicking myself for not buying the promo cd at the concert sat!!! ya know the song sic em on a chicken?? that's a true story of a huge (bullying) rooster on his farm,and his dog, a jack russell terrier. after they performed that song... everyone was standing....and his dog came out on stage with the band....hyper and prancing around.....!!! i hope they make it for another so cal show.

We have WAY to much in common. I like a hard ticket and I've been collecting only like the last 3 years of concerts I've been to but I wanted to try and create a cool framed collage of my concert tickets for people to say WOW. Kinda like an old fashion trunk case with stickers from all over on it. Anyway I put them all in a frame in order and want to add to the mix by whatever angle they fell. This is so far not working and this last earthquake made them all go to the bottom. I don't want to use glue or any type of adhesive to keep them in place that will ruin them. I would love a great idea on how to display all of my concert tickets??? Somebody needs to create some kind of holder etc that could be hung. Any ideas?

P.S. Can't wait to meet you mommie.

Rose - I love your idea!! That is a dilemma... how to affix without doing permanent damage. i have all mine in an album made especially for concert tickets. my friend got it for me for xmas last year... it's says "Abra's Concert Tickets" on the front. heh heh. and you just flip thru it like it was a book of business cards. but i LOVE the idea of displaying them in a collage like trunk stickers. what about one of those boards that has the ribbon criss-crossed all over it? you could tuck them in throughout all the ribbons and sort of overlap? not the greatest, but at least no glue or tape.

I have a cork-board in my kitchen where I post all my tickets to concerts and significant games, etc...its pretty cool and people always stop to check it out when they go to grab a beer from the fridge!! And the little hole from the thumbtack is really minor...barely noticeable and then the tickets can be moved around as the board fills up! In fact its almost time for a new one!! LOL!! If you want to keep them behind glass, you could probably arrange them in one of those shadow boxes that they mount memorabilia in, like sports jerseys, etc using old- school photo corners if you don't want to pierce them with the pin....just a few ideas...:)

I definately am not creative, but just had a wild idea. Get a piece of glass to fit over you coffee table. First layer a piece of that thin white packing type material, spread tickets around add a few pics, programs etc. then cover with the glass. Or if money is no object they sell shadow box type tables.

Now when the kids needed pics on collages. I would cut out some construction paper jsut a little bigger then the pictures, then i would cut slits on the construction paper a little bit in from where the corners of the pics sit. Kinda like isert tab A in slot A kinda thing. That way I would not have to use tape or glue on my keepsakes. Also if you put some of the aforemetioned packing type stuff behind the matte in the picture frame it will create a more snug fit.

Ok. I'm drained for a while. :eek:

I am going to have to go scope out the venue and surrounding area. So many of us are going to be there we should have a kick arse tailgate, well as good as we can hold on a Sunday. Can't wait.

Orrrrrr...you could just stuff them in the nearest drawer like I do, then find them 10 years later and reminisce. Say things like, "wow, I spent money to see her?" or, "wow, wonder what happened to him...he was hawwwttt in the day", along with all my picks, drum sticks and play lists I got.

Orrrrrr... in 10 years you could sell some of that stuff as collectables on ebay for $10,000. :p

P.S. That suite idea sounds really sweet! :p :p

I already contacted Wayne, he is the suite coordinator, everything is booked for now and he doesnt have pricing either yet. But the price would depend on the concert/venue.

I am to call him back today so him and I can discuss what I am looking for..so I will keep you all informed.
