Deluxe Fan Edition came out today. I purchased mine at Target - if you buy at Target within the first week of a new release you normally save $2.00. On this one I saved $4.00. List price is $16.99 and it was $12.98 plus tax. I really wanted the 5 bonus tracks which includes Life in a Northern Town which was sooooo good in concert and what a nice surprise to have Sugarland, Little Big Town & Jake Owen all come together for a song. I'm listening to the CD now.

First go around the songs that strike me are:

1. All I want to do (of course)
2. It Happens
10. What I'd Give
13. Fall into me
15. Wishing

It's difficult to listen to at work because of the phones and pesky people who want to do business.

I'm so far really liking this CD.

I guess if it was up to all of us we would make Sugarland's CD #1 this week but my guess is the tweens are going to be buying Miley Cyrus.

I'm so out of the kid loop and I don't watch the Disney Channel so I've never seen the show before or have heard her music. Maybe I should check it out Kymery since you recommend it.

NOOOO never recommend Miley Cyrus...did I say that??..especially after she sang like crap on the music awards..I meant we were listening to Sugarland!! lol!!

Although I DO enjoy the Miley Cyrus show on whatever channel it is. Very cute show with Billy! Give em props there..stick to tv, not singing!

THANKS for letting me know and keeping me in the loop since I'm old school. The first time I saw my girlfriends little daughter in a blonde wig and of course I said "playing stripper girl?" and they told me Miley Sirus and I said "what"?

lovin the sugarland cd! pensive yet charming. it's good "enjoy-life" music.. much like they're other 2 fantastic cds. it didn't strike me til later that there weren't many uptempo songs tho. not too many "settlin" or "down in mississippi" types. i wish there were just a couple more toe-tappers.

well, i hadn't listened to it all the way thru before commenting. have definitely heard a few toe-tappers since then. and, i don't know if i'm particularly emotional today, but that Last Country Song actually brought tears.

Sugarland also makes chart news this week. The duo's latest album, Love On The Inside, debuts at #2, which is the highest that any country twosome has been listed in the 52-year history of Billboard's weekly album chart. The old record was held by Brooks & Dunn, which peaked at #3 in 2005 with their highest charting album, Hillbilly Deluxe. Two other country duos have reached the top 10. Big & Rich has climbed as high as #6 twice (in 2004 and 2007). Montgomery Gentry reached #10 in 2004. The Judds, still among the most famous country duos of all time, peaked at #51 in 1989 with their highest-charting album, River Of Time. (Country was underrepresented on the charts in the years before 1991, when Nielsen/SoundScan set up shop.)

Of course Miley Cyrus was #1 this week

Sugarland Leapfrogs Miley To Earn First No. 1
Despite a 45% sales decline to 171,000 copies, Sugarland's "Love on the Inside" rises 2-1 to become the country act's first Billboard 200 chart-topper. Last week's No. 1, Miley Cyrus' "Breakout" (Hollywood), falls to No. 2 on a 56% decrease to 163,000 copies.
