oh gosh...have you opened up a pandoras box with that question. I think there's a thread dedicated to that very question for SC 09. Here's my thoughts. ..We are country music fans, the old stuff, the new stuff...we like it all. Being a first event you're planning go for whoever accepts. There are new and upcoming country artists that would love the opportunity to perform. Then you have the high ticket ones that may not be interested in a "small" venue. You have your work cut out for you in planning this event. But it sounds like fun.

lol, yeah we are defenitely going to be booking some smaller up and comers... We think its important to support them. But we are defenitely booking a big one also. We are working on Dierks Bentley for the headliner, then supporting Diamond Rio, Mark Wills and Tracy Byrd. So we'll see. =)

Well we are bringing another event to Southern California, we are not competing with Stagecoach, it is not the same date, or the same month even. All we are doing is bringing an event out here that people will enjoy, and by the way... we are a charity event so I don't need to hear about pimping my business... We do 4 events a year and raise millions of dollars for Veterans and injured atheletes, so I'd appreciate it if you'd get off my back... Sorry if that sounds rude, but were doing nothing wrong. Thanks!

The box suites arent very far. They are in the normal location for box suites, but this stadium is smaller than angels stadium so its a lot better view. If you look at the pics on the website you can get an idea of the size of the stadium from the shots taken inside... thanks!

I think it is AWESOME to have another festival we can enjoy...we met so many people on here and we can gather there too! This SC venue has brought a lot of people together, and to be able to learn about new adventures is great.

I thank SC for that!! Hope there is no jealousy in the two..or thinking someone is taking over...just sharing "happenings" is whats great! I mean we all talk about getting together for Dwight, Trishia, Reba, Martina etc...but just because the "promotor" is involved on here and informing us of this new venue...we shouldn't think that Wagonwheel is "hi-jacking" in any way.

Anway, just wanted to put that there as food for thought.

We changed the format, its no longer a contest, its just a concert series that previews the bands for the upcoming KFRG 95.1 Wagon Wheel Country Music Festival...

MAKE A WEEKEND OUT OF THIS DATE! If you got the Friday Press Ent, check out section G...GREAT TIMING!!

If you have never been to Yucaipa you gotta check this out. In the neighboring city of Oak Glen they grow the best apples in the world. The best time to visit is right now!! Doug and I have visited this and had a blast! So we plan on staying at a local motel, then on Sunday heading out to Oak Glen for the festivities. Great food, western shoot outs, apple tasting, craft fairs etc.

In fact, we got our Blond Lab from Oak Glen area, hence her name "Apple"!!

I talked to Yu-Cal Motel @909-797-8390, a great guy, and happy to oblige us...AS LONG AS WE AREN'T THE ROWDY BIKERS THEY HAD A COUPLE MONTHS AGO!! He was so funny. I assured him we are great, respecitable people, may party, but good peeps.
This hotel is about 1 mile from Angels Roadhouse!

Last weekend at the Loma Linda Veterans Car Show, We, Just Cruzin Productions donated a check to the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Hospital for $250,000. If anyone wonders why we all do what we do over here at Just Cruzin Productions, well here it is. Our shows, including the Wagon Wheel Country Music Festival, are all put together to raise money for the Veterans that fight for our freedom, and because of our volunteers, our participants, and our Just Cruzin Family, it makes things like a $250,000 donation possible for us to give to people that need it more than we do. Below is a picture of us presenting the check at the Veterans Show! Thank you to all of you who support us and make this possible!

That reminds me... The last time I saw Sammy Kershaw in concert was @ the Fairgrounds in Perris (circa '94)
We were able to meet him...I can recall he was a nice guy!

TRIATHLON! :D Its more like "survive" than "race" for me but its fun and this will be my first full "season". Only did 2 last season (my first 2!!! :eek:)

I had mentioned I had no idea how many extra lil charges appeared via ticketmaster as the events I was attending were always covered due to the company I worked for... It just doesn't make sense that the "inconvenience" fees aren't consistent. Seems as though they should be a flat rate!

Just when you thought we were done, we've added a third day! Gates open at 5 pm on Friday night. Friday night featuring Travis Tritt and a surprise opening guest!

There has been a big demand for tent camping, so in response we are going to be opening a section of the RV Lot for a small tent city... Ask and you shall receive... haha... We have not put that into effect yet, but it will be available... Hope that helps y'all! =) Tent camping spots will be $35 for the weekend... Friday - Monday...

Yes sir!! You can buy tickets to the Kickoff meet and greet catered party on for Friday by calling us at 951-656-0862. And you can also get your camping ticket. This will save you the Ticketmaster fees and insure you a spot! Please ask for Pam Bohne!
