I feel bad that many stagecoach fans on this message board got screwed at pre-sales. I was able to get a couple of Gold Circle thru Kenny's fan club. I am in section 1, row 3, seats 18 & 19. Any neighbors out there? Where are you sitting? Although I love Kenny, I'm also a big fan of George, Allan, Brooks & Dunn.....well just about all the Headliners for both nights. I'm so excited, and it's hard to focus on certain things  .....I need to get it together; there's still another 3 months before showtime. My husband, Joey, and I will driving from Alhambra, CA......see all of you there!

Those are "fan"tastic seats cici. I was able to get a Gold Circle seat in section 3, row 5, seat 7. I now feel very fortunate to have gotten such a good seat, after hearing what a disaster this pre-sale thing was for most of the posters on this board. I had no clue any "fan clubs" had access to "PRE" pre-sale Gold Circle seats. I would have gladly paid the $25.00 or so to join if I knew of this unbelievable opportunity. Cici, I know it doesn't matter now. But just to give the posters here some perspective. How many days prior to the Jan. 19th pre-sale did you have access to tickets on Kenny's fan club site? I hope to see you guys there. Thanks.

Just to add. I'm in Sugarland's fan club, and there was NO mention of ticket availability for this event. I'm sorry for those of you on this board who thought a "pre-sale" status gave you an advantage or a leg up. Obviously you would have had an INCREDIBLE advantage if you would have been in either "brooks & Dunn's' or "Kenny's" fan clubs. I haven't heard yet if "George Strait's" or "Alan Jackson's" clubs had that same advantage. Fool me once I guess.

Goodmorning tdc1, the pre-sale tickets went on sale on Jan 17th. I rec'd an email from the fan club the day before that. What is so wierd is that there was a thread on his fan site for pre-salers, and me and one other person were the only persons who got Gold Circle. What I would do now, is either go to George Strait or Alan Jackson's fan club and see if they have tix or will be releasing Gold Circle. Another thing I would try is Ticket Master. I think many fans on these threads got screwed and they may release Gold Circle tix at anytime. I would try every afternoon, you never know.

We were not able to get Gold Circle (we did get reserved seats, and I'm sure it will be fine)... but I will say that I don't think this pre-sale was any worse than most. We go to 20 - 30 concerts a year, and if we have a pre-sale "in" this is pretty much how it always goes. A few people get great seats (we've been in that lucky group a couple of times!), and most of the best seats go to the brokers. I certainly wouldn't fault the fanclubs, as they really get very few tickets, and from what I've read most of them do their best to keep those tickets out of the hands of brokers, but it's almost impossible. Especially when people post pre-sale passwords on message boards, such as this one! The brokers are very savvy -- they read all the boards and they have memberships in all the fanclubs (small investment for their huge payoff). They are very motivated to get those good tickets, and TicketMaster is somewhat less motivated to stop them...

Thanks for that info cici.

Seattle, this was my first time doing the pre-sale thing. Stemming from your past experience, I really DID get lucky to obtain Gold Circle. I guess I just had unrealistic expectations for the pre-sale audience as a whole. The radio station that I got my password from made it seem like I would pretty much have my pick of the litter. I can see now from your insightful comments that generally that's not the case at all. Thanks, you've answered a lot of the questions that I had in regards to what seems to be a glaring weakness in the system of ticket acquisition.

Nice to know, I was there on "pre sale" right away, but no luck.
It will be fun anyway

Alan Jackson's fan club didn't offer presales but Brooks & Dunn's did. That's were I got my Gold Circle seat. I'm in section 1, row 7, seat 5.

FYI - according to the Stagecoach promoter, there were NO VIP Gold tickets held back at the pre-sale and this was acknowledged in writing by e-mail. However, you will notice Stagecoach is offering front row tickets through a bidding process. To make matters worse, they are using an image of my favorite, G.S., to announce this bidding on their web site. All of this has not gone unnoticed as the local radio stations have been notified.

Testing my new awesome avatar on this awesome poll.

Also I saw one of the letters you sent to one of the radio stations where you just make up info. Pot calling kettle black it seems.

Here is the quote "You should also be aware that Stagecoach has a unflattering history of losing money on former events they have sponsered. "

This is the first ever Stagecoach Festival and it has never sponsored any former events.

My Gold tickets came today, but I did not get an information sheet. I am curious what it told you? Was your laminate empty? I am also wondering what your lanyard says? Mine says Stagecoach on it...just wondered if yours says Gold? Thanks for any information.

The instructions said to use the lanyard to display your tickets. Also it says the wrists bands are good for both days. (Please do not remove them between show days). The lanyard says Stagecoach on it. But the clear plastic pouch has a hard plastic "Gold Circle" laminate in it. That admits you into the Exclusive "Gold Vip area" within the festival.

One thing I didn't expect. The instructions also say that....."AS a Gold Circle ticket holder, you are welcome to take your "commemorative chair" home with you at the conclusion of Sundays show.

Thank you for the update. I did not get the Gold VIP car in the plastic, but my e-mail did say it was Gold. Sounds like I will need to do some checking around.
